happy and blessed:)

hey bloggie!!!
it's been a long while since i last updated..
and a lot of things have changed:)
sad things..and then happy things!

hmm. to put it bluntly...
i finally found him:) or rather ??he found me?? haha i didn't really expect that to happen so soon. what with all the crap i had gone through by the end of the year.. i really thought it would take me some time to fall for someone new.. but tada. haha i was dead WRONG. i guess he just makes me happy:) he makes me feel special:) in ways i haven't felt in a long while.. and i do feel the same way for him:)

basta...hahaha the date was feb 7:)
valentines day was great:) i haven't had a real date in years. and honestly, this year, i got the best valentines gift:) a rose and a handmade card:) it's those simple things that really make you feel special.. when he NOT just buys those ready-made cards at NBS or something, but he practically goes out of the way to make something for you:)

basta...i'll chika when i have more time:)

merry christmas dears:)

hey dears! it's been a looong while since my previous entry..
and now it's the christmas season:P
for a short recap of the happenings of my oh-so-interesting-life i'd just put it in bullet form:)

- CHN rotation. the community rotation just ended.. i learned a lot!!! it was a lot of serious work but it was coupled with a hell lot of fun! i had the chance to give immunization to two babies! 3shots bebeh!. i thought i would be shaking like hell, but it turned out quite well:) plus our case study turned out quite good too:) our CI said she would pass it for the PAASCU for display or something:) which is a really good thing considering the many sleepless nights we had.. can you imagine staying up ALL NIGHT then going for a 7am duty the next day?? haha.. i am now a certified coffee fan. haha


- capping and pinning. last december 13, we had our capping and pinning ceremony:) it was really.. solemn as my parents would describe it. honestly, it made me feel the need to be more committed to nursing now.. with the whole thing being a "calling" or "vocation" haha. plus i'd be in a hell lot of trouble if i don't do things right! it was a sort of enlightening experience. sort of it made me feel more inspired to work hard:) earning the cap and the pin is no easy work i tell you!  LITERALLY blood, sweat and tears ang puhunan dun!

- class christmas party. due to lack of time and resouces.. haha we just had dinner at iron horse.. and even if barely half of the class made it, we still managed to have fun:) and to think we came from the health center for a defense that afternoon! i guess we're starting to get used to the stress and the pressure.. haha we also went to people's park for some of our classmates who haven't gone there yet. and of course would we miss a photo-op??haha

- group1 christmas party @ forest hill. it was lots and loads of fun!:) we had lots of FOOD and GAMES! the mind games. the physical competition. the sinugba of robert dano and our sir david. the prices. the sisid-for-100pesos that robert won. the exchange gifts:) i'd surely miss our CI and our PCI's:((

- christmas eve and christmas day. it sucked big time! it was the worst christmas everrrr!!! i miss pasig too much:(( christmas there is always so happy and complete even if we just stay home.. maybe part of it is because i feel completely home there with my friends and with my family.. christmas in davao SUCKS! eesh:( i almost cried that night.. and it didn't really help when my tito called from pasig with stories and stuff about our neighbors and the court and the church:( damn. i need to visit pasig SOOONNNN!!!

- christmas dinner with the girls. this is the night that sort of made up for my crappy christmas! i had more fun.. we met at k1 with shane, sturrALLANA, miming, yeo, vina and jess.. then we had DINNERRRR at bigby's where migel and javi made habol.. and as if we didn't have a BIG enough dinner, we still had desert at kasagingan.. where we mavericked away in our southern accents.. we had a lot of laughs about that one.. especially with migel being too shy to ask the waiters where the comfort room was! haha. plus the waiter guy sort of holding his laugh.. hahaha funny fun fun!!! i just love those girls *maverick accent*

so i guess that's it for now.. haha
been out for a while and this is sort of enough to recap my life..

oh what an exciting life!
2009 better be more... fun!

christmas is in the air...NOT!

this is it na!! the practice for the capping and pinning starts tomorrow.. and goes on every sunday until the ceremony.. so goodbye weekends! i’m not sure if i would still be able to go home every weekend:( boohoo. it all depends if my dad would drive me to school every sunday for the practice! hehe. kapui commute noh!

so yea. busy busy. the pamatay schedule starts on monday! full sched for the whole week!! so i guess byebye social life narin ata kami. haha huwag naman sana.. though i think we’d still be able to squeeze in a little laag here or there. haha

i’m feeling a mix of excitement and anxiousness for the coming sem.. i have an idea of what we’d be going through but it’s really different when you know it’s you whose gonna be there.. wah! kayanin kaya ni x?? antayin ang susunod na kabanata.. haha loser. what scares me the most is that my mom’s really really REALLY confident that i can get through this.. mabuti pa siya. haha oh well. kakayanin.. may choice pa ba??

so yea. that’s it.. i think when regular classes starts, it’s all gonna be school for me!! and of course! sana matuloy ang plans ng dinner with hs friends every saturday.. para naman hindi kami masyadong demoted sa world. gosh. when you think about it there’s only roughly about 2months till the christmas season! and some are already feeling the christmas-ness in the air! haha well i don’t! i don’t know how much i have to go through.. hopefully i’d survive to be able to celebrate christmas! haha. boring christmas in davao. eesh.

so yea.. just a random post while waiting for j9 to send the thinggies we have to memorize for tomorrow’s practice! haha yea.. that’s it:P

what a maverickingly great time i had.

hey y'all!
just got home from allana's sleepover!! i had a really really great time! i missed those crazeeee gurls! no one does funny like them! haha:P it felt really great getting to spend time with my friendsfriends! you know.. the kind of friends you don't just meet anymore! i really felt all the stress and the negative stuffies that collegelife has thrown upon my shoulders disappear! just laughing our butts off over crazzzeee nonsense things that didn't really need to make sense to be funny! haha:P

to summarize.. the highlights were:

- last full show at sm: house bunny. that definitely gave us lots to laugh about!! with the whole deep voice thinggy and the stupid funny lines and stuffs.. it was a great movie to start the night! then we waited at sm's parking lot for allana's parents and we still found reasons to laugh (something only people like us could manage to do) haha:)

- the ride to allana's. the random conversations we had.. that eventually turned out to be funny! like for example.. j9's "caffaine" and migel's "center park". haha:)) that gave us all a laugh!

- the conversation about politics that started the "maverick-alooza". i think it was allana and migel who started talking about obama and this gurl with the southern accent and the thinggy.. ** i know right?? i didn't get any of it either! hahaha:)) ** and eventually we all started using MAVERICK in any possible way we could! with the whole southern accent and everything!

- scary stories. we started sharing scary stories about hospitals or whatever while we were waiting for everyone to finish changing into their jammies.. it sort of set the mood for the upcoming horror movie we were going to watch..

- midnight snack galore. of course before we started scaring ourselves over the movie, we had to fill our hungry bellies! haha:)) lots and lots of food!!! the cake, the eggpie, the mango, the ice cream and the crackling!!! yummm:P party in the tummy!!!

- alone. then we watched the thai horror movie: alone at around 2:00am-ish?? not sure of the time.. but basically we all were soo awake while watching the movie! haha it was the first time i enjoyed watching a horror movie! that's a great achievement for me!!!:)

- the nonsense maverick conversation vina, shane and i had. while everyone else were snoring themselves into unconsciousness (except miming who was just trying really hard to sleep haha:P) i was trying to fight off the sleepiness i was feeling..
vina was like: "DON'T SLEEP ON ME YOU MAVERICK!"
me: "I'M NOT SLEEPING YOU MAVERICK!" **insert drooping eyes here** haha:))
and then more nonsense random maverick conversations continued... until the sun rose on us!:))

- jackpot with vina, migel and shane. since everyone else fell asleep on the living room the four of us decided to play cards in allana's room.. haha it was a funFUNfun game! plus migel's not-so-magic trick!!! haha:))

- a short nap then breakfast. we  had a short nap for i think an hour before we got to have our breakfast.. another party in our tummy!

then almost everyone left before lunch except me, vina, miming and of course allana.. we spent the rest of the afternoon mavericking away and playing jackpot! vina and i bagged that one! haha:)) nice teamwork vina!!!:) tournament sa christmas break ok?? you're still gonna be my partner! go team MAVERICK! haha:))

then i think the three of us left at around 5pm.. and now i'm here! finally home.. blabbering maverick nonsense here on the internet.. haha. i guess i'm still not all mavericked-out. haha:P

i had a great time guys!!!
it was fun to bond with you guys again!

happy happy happy.

ahm lavinet!!!!

these past few days have been loads and loads of fun! it's a good thing i finally get to spend my sembreak with my friends:))

first off was miming's deboot! that was funFUNfun!!! it just felt great to be with my friends again:) soo happy! i missed those guys! it was like a reunion for the HS peoples! mygosh. it was a great night! especially for miming:) she looked gorgeous in her red dress.. ** plus i loooved the mask ming! ** and the muffins!.. haha i was shocked that she included me in her 18muffins:) ** thanks ming! ** grabe kaba ko nun! hehe.. i wasn't prepared.. but still:) i hope she got what i was trying to say:) i was supposed to mention the research nights and the food tasting we had at their house when her mom cooks something new from somewhere but i think my nerves got the better of me.. hehe.. those were the highlights of my HS life:)

then i slept over at j9's house.. as usual. haha we slept at around 4:30am just talking and waiting for baba to upload the pics.. j9 slept later though.. i was dozing off at around 4 so i fell asleep first:) we woke up at around 1pm?? haha ** sa uulitin babes!:P **

haaay.. then i went to the movies with **insert name here**. omg! sooo happy! i still can't stop smiling about it!:)) haaaaaayyyyyy i had a greatGREATgreat time:) i just missed him soo much! and i don't know.. i'm just so happy that things are almost back to the way they were:) happyHAPPYhappy:)

and it doesn't stop there! i'm going to allana's sleepover tonight!!! yey! it's my first ever sleepover since HS! haha.. gosh. i missed alot of sleepovers.. during prom and breaks:(( my parents were still very strict about that then.. but i think they sort of got used to me not being in the house since i started staying at the dorm so they're cool about that now:))

soo happy!!! i'd finally get to go with you guys! yeyeyeyey!!!
